Rega AOS MC Phono Stage

The AOS is a fully adjustable, no-compromise moving coil phono stage built on the circuit design of Rega's award-winning Aura reference. Housed in a custom half-width aluminium case, it delivers exceptional definition and realism from your vinyl collection.

Designed for a wide range of MC cartridges with plenty of gain for low-output models, the AOS features selectable resistive loading (70 to 400Ω) and capacitive loading (1000–4300pF), plus a 6dB gain switch — making it the perfect partner for any moving coil cartridge. Factory pre-set for all Rega MC cartridges, the AOS is ready to play straight out of the box with no adjustments needed.

A pure analogue design with no digital control circuitry, the AOS uses parallel-connected ultra-low noise FETs configured as a compound pair, ensuring zero bias current flows through your cartridge coil. A self-adjusting servo compensates for temperature variations, keeping performance consistent.
